It’s Day Four at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity (or just Cannes/Cannes Lions as it’s known to the industry folks). For those who are unaware of what exactly it is, here’s a summary courtesy of Wikipedia:

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity (formerly the International Advertising Festival)[1][2] is a global event for those working in the creative communications, advertising and related fields. The seven-day festival, incorporating the awarding of the Lions awards, is held yearly at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in CannesFrance.

According to WPP’s Sir Martin Sorrell, it’s basically an event “to get away a little bit from the hurly burly” and have “fun”.

Cannes has been the talk all week, and as the sun rises on Day 4… have we ‘reached peak Cannes‘?
